FORMULATION
To make 1 cocktail
1-2 green olives (with pimento)
1 lemon rind
3-4 ice cubes
2 heaping ounces of Islamorada gin
3-4 more ice cubes
1 4-ounce cocktail/martini glass
PROCEDURE
Add the olive(s) to the glass. Add the gin to a shaker. Place 3-4 ice cubes into the shaker. Place a top onto the shaker. Shake vigorously until it's frosted and hurts your hand to hold. Peel a rind of a lemon and squeeze it over the glass. Drop the rind in. Add 3-4 FRESH ice cubes and enjoy!
RESULTS

You already know Martinis are my thing so naturally this gets a 5/5. This one is off the book but I was back home and we were getting ready for a Bolts game the next day and dad and I love to have our blue gin martinis (mom even decided she wanted one!). The blue comes from the hibiscus flower this gin is distilled with, we picked it up at the Islamorada distillery on our drive back from Key West. Highly recommend stopping in, not only do they have a distillery and brewery, but they also offer some pretty yummy food. Enjoy the photo montage below, especially my dad getting into the photoshoot aspect of this adventure :) (he wanted to make sure he got the perfect shot).
DISCUSSION
All I can say is this martini worked it's magic. Both of the Bolts games I went to we pulled out the win! I even got a goal on camera (all due to our bolts-tini). I recommend you go and try!
