2 to 3 ice cubes
A dash of fresh lime juice
3 ounces vodka
4 to 6 ounces cold ginger beer
1 slice lime
A beer mug or 8-ounce glass
PROCEDURE
Place the ice cubes in a beer mug or heavy glass and add the lime juice and vodka. Fill the mug or glass with ginger beer and top with the slice of lime.
RESULTS

Moscow mule is such a classic, you just can't go wrong. I gave this a 5/5 because it's one of my go-tos. In fact I have three different types of ginger beer in my fridge right now for any mule occasion. The only tweak I would make is that I like a but more lime and I love throwing that wedge in there for extra liminess. I love this brand of ginger beer because one can makes one drink perfectly. It's a little more than the recipe calls for but that's ok (add a little extra vodka if it bothers you too much). I also had to use the classic mule mug, not sure if they had mule mugs back when this was written?

DISCUSSION
I know I've touched on this in my last mule post but there's plenty of types of mules, Moscow, island, kentucky, and that's all I remember. I went to google Mule Variations and apparently it's a song?? So if you're googling make sure you specify drink. Ok here's an extensive list (mule prefix = liquor type):
Moscow = Vodka
Kentucky = Whiskey Bourbon
Dark N' Stormy = Dark Rum
Island = Rum
Mexican = Tequila
London = Gin
I think these all sound great, I'm actually keen to try the tequila and gin combos, I'll let you know how it goes, until then cheers!
