INTRODUCTION
To make 1 highball
2 to 3 ice cubes
3 ounces bourbon
2 ounces cold ginger ale
2 ounces cold club soda
1 strip lemon peel
An 8-ounce highball glass
PROCEDURE
Combine the ice cubes, bourbon, ginger ale and club soda in a highball glass and stir. Twist the lemon peel over the glass to release its oil, and drop it in.
RESULTS

We love easy instructions and that's certainly the case with this beverage. My new rule of thumb is if I would change something about the drink it doesn't get a 5/5 even if I really liked it. Thus, Presbyterian gets 4/5. I really enjoyed the drink, gave me whiskey sour vibes. I thought it was tasty but I, personally, might add more ginger ale, less soda but I did enjoy the soda aspect of the flavor profile. I think adding more mixer would make this a very light easy drink to drink (perfect for day drinking loll jk).
As I said, easy instructions, below are the ingredients and it's pour and go with this one! I, of course, added more ice post selfie. My dumb ass forgot to save my first sip selfie though so only one pic of me today.
DISCUSSION
Currently writing this the morning after at Richmond Airport. I'm flying home to FL for a very quick weekend.
I am always interested in why these drinks get their names, I mean a voda soda is self explanatory and likewise with a gin fizz, but presbyterian.. how did this beverage take on the name of a very prominent religion?
