INTRODUCTION

To make 1 drink

Juice of 1 lime

The leaves off of 3-4 sprigs of mint

2 ounces rum of your choice

1 can of ginger beer (or about 6ish ounces, do what you feel)

Ice

A mule mug

PROCEDURE

Pick off all the leaves of mint and squish them between your fingers and palms over your cup to get the juices flowing and break the leaf membranes, drop the mint into the cup. Make sure to keep the top off of one of the sprigs for garnish. Pour in the vodka, follow that up with the ginger beer. Add ice to the top, add the garnish. Enjoy!

RESULTS

So this is the first time I've had this ginger beer, its tropical. I actually loveddd it. I saw it at the grocery store while browsing the beer, wine, and mixers section, as one does, and thought omg I need to try this. Did not disappoint. Moscow mules, island mules, all kinds of mules, are a favorite of mine so it's no surprise it gets 5/5 stars and I will def be coming back to this ginger beer. It's just the perfect Floridian drink, super refreshing and perfect fresh flavors for the heat, it still tastes good in Virgina too :)

Below are the pics for the evening, major plays, muddled mint, garnish, white rum, tropical ginger beer, ice to the top, sip, cheers and enjoy!!

DISCUSSION

The mint is optional I just feel it adds good flavor and I also had some extra from earlier that week so I wanted to use it. I also think a good non-alcoholic drink is mint and ginger beer (and you cut it with club soda, so you can make two drinks with one can), if I'm feeling like cutting back its a go-to of mine.

Off to drink, cheers and see you on the next one ;)
